Optum Physician EHR features
Patient data management. The system allows for the creation of patients’ profiles and tracking of current and past visits. It also provides an overview of all scheduled appointments, including those that have been postponed or canceled.
The ability to store patient information in one place. With this feature, physicians can access their patients’ records from any location by logging into the Optum Physician EHR platform.
Automated appointment scheduling tools. This feature helps doctors manage their schedules and contact patients regarding upcoming appointments or changes to existing ones with just a few clicks of the mouse or taps on a smartphone screen.
Electronic health records reporting capabilities. Physicians can create reports that provide statistical data about their practice’s performance and productivity levels over time periods ranging from days or weeks up to months or years at a time by integrating Optum Physician EHR with third-party billing software such as Optum Practice Management Software.
Diagnosis Codes — The diagnosis codes used in Optum Physician are consistent with those used by insurance companies and government agencies like Medicare and Medicaid. Doctors enter diagnostic codes when they see patients; these codes are then translated into billing codes so that payment can be collected from insurance companies later on.
Isalus EHR Features

Electronic Medical Records – Isalus generates fully functional electronic medical records (EMRs) for each patient on file. The software allows users to store patient information in a central database that can be accessed from any computer with internet access.

Optum Physician EHR vs Isalus EHR: The Verdict
It’s a tough call to make, but Optum Physician EHR is the winner in this comparison. Both are great products, but Optum’s more comprehensive offering gives it the edge.
The most compelling feature of the Isalus EHR is its ability to integrate with other systems, such as practice management software, lab systems, and billing software. But while it’s nice that they can be integrated with other systems, it’s not essential if you’re looking for an EHR that can handle your needs right now.
Optum Physician EHR has more features than Isalus EHR does, which makes sense considering that it’s more expensive than Isalus’ product. However, if you’re willing to pay more money upfront and save yourself some headaches down the line by purchasing a system with more features up front, then Optum could be worth checking out.
