Surah’s of Quran Al-Majeed is the ultimate and holy book of the Islamic religion and its verses are considered as the words of Allah. The essence of the Quran is confined in this Surah and it consists of the requests, praises to Allah, enforcement of moral and spiritual values, etc.
The second Surah of the Quran Al-Majeed is As-Sajdah and it contains thirty-two ayahs of the Quran Al Majeed. The key themes of this Surah include the human and his obligations to his Creator, the requirements of patience and perseverance, the need to strive and work hard, and the need to remain steadfast in the face of all adversities.
Besides the two first Surah’s, the rest of the Quran Al Majeed is divided into a number of categories, namely Makki Surahs which were revealed in Makkah, Madani Surahs which were revealed in Madinah, and the Muhkamat, which are the unambiguous revelations that contain direct commands from Allah. The Makki Surahs begin with Surah Al-Baqarah and end with Surah An-Nas, while the Madani Surahs start with Surah Al-Maeda and end with Surah An-Nas.
